UltraTempy™ - A Precise Wireless Thermometer & Hygrometer Monitor
UltraTempy™
A wireless cloud-connected sensor solution that sends live temperature, humidity, dew point, and air-pressure data to your phone, tablet, and computer from anywhere in the world. The temperature is measured with a high precision NIST traceable temperature probe.
It is designed to meet ASTM E1112 and ISO 80601 requirements for electronic patient thermometers. The UltraTempy™ provides a 16-bit temperature result with a resolution of 0.0078°C and an accuracy of up to ±0.1°C across the temperature range of -20°C to 50°C.
The low power consumption of the UltraTempy™ minimizes the impact of self-heating on measurement accuracy. The UltraTempy™ operates on two AA batteries and last 10 years. The included lithium batteries provide a temperature range of the device, not the probe, of ‑40°C to +60°C. The probe has a temperature range of –55°C to +150°C.
For non-medical applications, the UltraTempy™ can serve as an alternative to a Platinum RTD. The UltraTempy™ has an accuracy comparable to a Class AA RTD, while only using a fraction of the power of the power typically needed for a PT100 RTD.
The UltraTempy™ units are 100% tested on a production setup that is NIST traceable and verified with equipment that is calibrated to ISO/IEC 17025 accredited standards.

- The cable between the probe and device is made from silicone. This provides the large temperature range, excellent aging resistance, high resistance to many different chemical substances and extreme flexibility.
The UltraTempy™ platform provides temperature, humidity, air-pressure and dew point, every 2 minutes which will be stored in the cloud and will be available from everywhere in the world. The system will alert one or multiple people when one or more measurements are outside the range set. Therefore Tempy™ is ideal to monitor fridges, freezers, rooms, etc.
All measurements can be downloaded per day, month, or other time periods.
- THIS DEVICE REQUIRES A GATEWAY: The standalone Tempy device is for customers who already have a kit with a functioning gateway. This device will integrate seamlessly into an existing network, but will not function without a gateway.
